The Somali Association of Pediatric Surgeons (SAPS) is a professional, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing pediatric surgical care, education, research and advocacy in Somalia.

Founded in April 2026 by a few Somali pediatric surgeons, SAPS brings together specialists and allied healthcare professionals who share a single mission of improving the surgical health of neonates, infants, children and adolescents.

SAPS strives to promote safe, accessible and high-quality pediatric surgical care for every child across Somalia.
